It's difficult to read, or knit, while rocking a brand new baby in the house! But it's well worth the tradeoff to welcome my beautiful granddaughter to the world. And it opens up the whole world of children's books again. Our favorites so far are Froggy and Friends.
And, after making baby socks and sweaters, I am back to hats-especially my favorite You Can't Save Zimbabwe- and afghan squares. Both pretty mindless and easy to drop whenever baby needs attention.
